Privacy Policy
What Videosio does
Videosio finds heavy videos in your photo library, compresses them on your iPhone, and shows a before and after preview so you can save the smaller copy, share it, or delete the original to recover space.
Data collection
Videosio collects no personal data. The app does not create accounts, does not use analytics, and does not track you across apps or websites.
How your videos are handled
When you grant photo library access, Videosio reads the videos you choose on your device and compresses them on your device with Apple AVFoundation. Your videos are processed locally for the compression you request. When you save a compressed copy to Photos, it keeps the original video's capture date and location. Videosio stores only your settings and compression history on your device using iPhone storage. Deleting the app removes them.
Photo library permission
Videosio asks for photo library access only when you scan or pick a video, so it can find heavy videos, and asks to save only when you save a compressed copy. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings under Videosio.
Third-party services
Videosio uses RevenueCat only to observe subscription purchases made through Apple. RevenueCat may receive purchase history and device identifiers for that purpose. All payments, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple. There are no other third-party SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no analytics.
Your rights
You can use Videosio without an account. You can withdraw photo library permission in iPhone Settings at any time. For questions or deletion requests, write to support@1kbapps.com.
Children
Videosio is not directed at children under 13. No data is collected from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated page will carry a new effective date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Technology Used
Videosio is built with Swift and SwiftUI and uses Apple frameworks: AVFoundation, AVKit, VideoToolbox, CoreMedia, Photos and PhotosUI, StoreKit 2, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and UserDefaults. It uses the RevenueCat purchases-ios SDK to observe Pro subscriptions. It does not use Apple Intelligence.
Help and Support
Need help. Write to support@1kbapps.com and include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you tapped before the problem.
What does Videosio do
Videosio scans your library for large videos sorted by size, compresses the video you pick on your iPhone, and shows the size before and after. You can then save the smaller copy to Photos, share it, or delete the original to recover space.
What can I try before Pro, and what needs Pro
You can scan your library, pick a video, compress it, and preview the result before paying. Saving the compressed copy to Photos, sharing it, and deleting originals or duplicates need a Pro subscription.
How do I subscribe to Pro
Open Videosio, tap Get Pro, pick Weekly or Yearly, and confirm with Apple. The price shown on the plan card is what Apple bills. The Weekly plan includes the introductory offer shown on the paywall where configured.
How do I restore purchases
Open Videosio, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchases. You can also tap Restore at the bottom of the Pro screen. Then check that you signed in on this iPhone with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Videosio Pro, and choose Cancel. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
The scan finds no videos. What should I check
First check that Videosio has photo library access in iPhone Settings. Then check that the library has videos, and try picking a video directly from the Home tab.
Compression fails or the file stays large. What should I do
Try a shorter or lower-resolution source video, pick a smaller target resolution in compression settings, free up device storage, and try again. Some already compressed videos cannot shrink much further.
A saved video does not appear in Photos. Where is it
Check the Recents album in Photos and check that Videosio has permission to save. If permission was denied, allow it in iPhone Settings and save again.
Terms of Use
Videosio follows the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Read it at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
