Privacy Policy
1. Overview
SVGPX is an SVG-to-PNG/JPG converter for iPhone. All file conversion happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your files or artwork on any external server. Your files never leave your iPhone.
2. Data We Collect
SVGPX collects minimal data to provide its core functionality:
- No personal data is collected — we do not collect your name, email, location, or any personally identifiable information.
- No files or images are collected — SVG files you import and PNG/JPG files you export stay entirely on your device. They are processed in temporary storage and are never sent to any server.
- App preferences — settings such as export format (PNG or JPG), render scale, JPEG quality, and app appearance theme are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active SVGPX Pro subscription is cached locally on your device using UserDefaults to allow instant UI access without a network round-trip.
- Free conversion count — to enforce the free usage limit, a conversion counter is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
3. How Your Data Is Used
- App preferences are used solely to remember your chosen settings between sessions.
- The locally cached subscription status is used solely to determine whether unlimited conversions are available to you.
- The conversion count is used solely to track remaining free sessions.
- None of this data is shared with any third party for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes.
4. On-Device Processing
All SVG rendering and image conversion is performed entirely on your device using Apple's WebKit framework (WKWebView) and UIKit image rendering. No conversion data, artwork, or output files are sent to external servers at any point during or after processing.
5. Third-Party Services
SVGPX uses the following third-party frameworks and services:
- RevenueCat — used exclusively to manage in-app subscription purchases, restore purchases, and verify whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives your anonymised App Store receipt and subscription identifiers in order to validate your purchase. RevenueCat does not receive your files or any conversion data. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Apple StoreKit / App Store — in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly by Apple via the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
- Apple PhotosUI — if you choose to import images from your Photos library, SVGPX requests access to your Photos only at the moment of import. We do not access your library in the background, and no photo data is stored beyond the temporary session folder used during conversion.
- Apple WebKit (WKWebView) — used internally to render SVG markup into a pixel-accurate bitmap before encoding. This web engine runs entirely on-device with no external network access during rendering.
6. Analytics
SVGPX does not integrate any third-party analytics SDK. No usage events, screen views, crash reports, or behavioural data are sent to any analytics platform.
7. Data Storage and Retention
- Converted output files are written to a temporary session folder inside your device's temporary directory. Sessions older than 48 hours are automatically cleaned up by the app on the next launch.
- App preferences and the local subscription cache are stored in UserDefaults on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
- SVGPX does not maintain any server-side database of users or their data.
8. Children's Privacy
SVGPX is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not contain features that require account creation or personal data entry.
9. Your Rights
Because SVGPX does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no profile to request, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns about data handled locally on your device, you can contact us at support@1kbapps.com. You can remove all locally stored app data by uninstalling SVGPX from your device.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SVGPX after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Terms of Use (EULA)
SVGPX follows Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). By downloading or using SVGPX, you agree to the terms of that agreement.
Technologies & Frameworks
Here is a transparent overview of the technologies SVGPX uses to deliver its features:
- SwiftUI & UIKit — the app's interface and image rendering are built with Apple's native frameworks. No third-party UI libraries are used.
- WebKit (WKWebView) — SVG files are rendered on-device using Apple's WebKit engine. This is a 100% on-device operation with no external web requests.
- PhotosUI (PHPicker) — used to let you import images from your Photos library when you choose to do so. Requires your explicit permission.
- StoreKit — Apple's in-app purchase framework, used in conjunction with RevenueCat for subscriptions.
- RevenueCat SDK — a purchase management layer that handles App Store subscription validation, purchase, and restore. Used only for subscription logic — no Offerings, no Paywalls, no RevenueCat-controlled pricing.
- No Apple Intelligence / AI features — SVGPX does not use Apple Intelligence, Core ML, or any machine learning or AI model. Conversion is a deterministic rendering process.
- No third-party analytics — no Mixpanel, Firebase, Amplitude, or similar SDK is included in the app.
- No ad SDKs — SVGPX contains no advertising network SDKs.

Frequently Asked Questions
General
Q: What does SVGPX do?
A: SVGPX converts SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files into PNG or JPG images, entirely on your iPhone. You can import SVG files from the Files app or images from your Photos library and export them as high-quality PNG or JPG files.
Q: Does SVGPX upload my files anywhere?
A: No. All conversion happens on your device. Your SVG files and exported images are never sent to any server. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Q: What file types can I import?
A: You can import SVG files from the Files app, and images from your Photos library. Files up to 50 MB are supported.
Q: What export formats are available?
A: You can export as PNG (with transparency support) or JPG. You can set the default format in Settings.
Q: Can I convert multiple files at once?
A: Yes. You can select multiple SVG files from the Files app or up to 25 images from Photos in a single session. All files are converted in sequence and presented together in the results screen.
Conversion Settings
Q: What does Export Scale (1x, 2x, 3x) mean?
A: This controls the output resolution. 1x exports at the SVG's native logical size. 2x doubles the pixel dimensions (ideal for Retina displays). 3x triples them for maximum sharpness.
Q: What is JPG Quality?
A: When exporting as JPG, you can choose between Compact (smaller file), Balanced (a good middle ground), or High (maximum quality, larger file). This setting has no effect on PNG exports.
Importing Files
Q: How do I add SVG files?
A: Tap the import area on the home screen, then choose Files to open Apple's Files picker, or Photos to pick from your library.
Q: SVGPX says it couldn't open my SVG. What's wrong?
A: Some SVG files generated by certain tools may be malformed or use features not supported by standard SVG rendering. Try opening the file in a vector editor and re-saving it as a clean SVG. If the problem persists, email us the file at support@1kbapps.com and we'll investigate.
Exporting & Sharing
Q: How do I save the converted PNG or JPG to my Photos?
A: On the results screen, tap the Save to Photos button for individual files, or use the share button to share them anywhere — AirDrop, Files, Mail, Messages, and more.
Q: Can I share multiple converted files at once?
A: Yes. On the results screen you can select multiple converted files and share them together. Batch sharing requires an active SVGPX Pro subscription.
SVGPX Pro Subscription
Q: What is the free limit?
A: On the free plan, SVGPX allows 3 conversion sessions.
Q: What does SVGPX Pro include?
A: Pro removes the session limit entirely, giving you unlimited SVG conversion sessions. It also unlocks batch sharing of converted files.
Q: What subscription plans are available?
A: SVGPX Pro is available as a Weekly plan and an Annual plan. Pricing is displayed in your local currency on the upgrade screen within the app. All pricing is set and managed by Apple's App Store.
Q: How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
A: Go to Settings inside SVGPX and tap Restore Purchase. Alternatively, the option is also available at the bottom of the upgrade screen.
Q: I restored my purchase but Pro is not showing. What should I do?
A: Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used when you originally purchased. If the issue persists, email us at support@1kbapps.com and include your Apple ID email (not your password) so we can look into it.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, find SVGPX, and tap Cancel Subscription. We have no access to manage subscriptions on your behalf.
Appearance
Q: Can I change the app theme?
A: Yes. Go to Settings and choose Dark, Light, or System (which follows your iPhone's system appearance setting).
Privacy
Q: Does SVGPX access my Photos library in the background?
A: No. Photos access is only triggered when you explicitly tap the import button and choose Photos. The app does not access your library passively or in the background.
Q: Does SVGPX use any AI or cloud processing?
A: No. SVGPX does not use Apple Intelligence, any AI model, or cloud-based processing. Conversion is a standard graphics rendering operation performed entirely on your device.
