Imgkit is built with privacy at its core. We believe your photos and personal data belong to you, not us. That's why we've designed our app to process everything locally on your device.

What We Do With Your Data

Image Processing

All image conversions, compressions, and edits happen 100% locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your photos never leave your device. We don't have servers that process your images, and we never upload your files to the cloud for processing.

Since all processing happens on your device, your data is protected by your device's security features (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode). We do not store your images on any external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Getting Started

What is Imgkit?

Imgkit is a powerful image conversion and compression tool for iPhone and iPad. Convert images between formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, PDF, and more), compress file sizes, resize dimensions, and create PDFs—all with professional quality.

Is Imgkit free?

Imgkit offers basic conversions for free. Premium features (unlimited conversions, batch processing, advanced compression, all formats) require a subscription.

What's the difference between Free and Premium?

How much does Premium cost?

We offer two subscription options:

How do I start the free trial?

Tap the "Pro" button in the app, select the Weekly plan, and tap "Start Free Trial". You won't be charged during the trial period. Cancel anytime before it ends to avoid charges.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top
  3. Select Subscriptions
  4. Find Imgkit and tap it
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain Premium access until the end of your billing period.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases go through Apple, so refund requests must be submitted to them:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find Imgkit and request a refund
  4. Apple will review your request (typically 48 hours)

We have no control over Apple's refund decisions.

I purchased Premium but it's not working

Try these steps:

  1. Verify you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for purchase
  2. Open Imgkit → Settings tab
  3. Tap "Restore Purchases"
  4. Restart the app

If issues persist, contact us at support@1kbapps.com with your purchase receipt.

Can I switch from Weekly to Yearly?

Yes. Cancel your Weekly subscription, wait for it to expire, then subscribe to Yearly. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow mid-cycle plan changes with refunds.

What image formats are supported?

Input Formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PDF, SVG, WEBP

How do I convert an image?

  1. Open Imgkit
  2. Tap "From Photos" or "From Files"
  3. Select image(s)
  4. Choose output format
  5. Tap "Convert"
  6. Save or share your converted image

Where are converted images saved?

By default, converted images are saved to your Photos app in a new album called "Imgkit". You can also choose to share directly to other apps or save to the Files app.

Can I batch convert multiple images?

Yes (Premium feature). Select multiple images, choose your output format and settings, then convert them all at once. The app can handle hundreds of images in a single batch.

How do I compress images?

In Premium mode, you'll see a quality slider when converting. Drag left to reduce file size (lower quality) or right for maximum quality. The app shows estimated file size in real-time.

How do I create a PDF from images?

  1. Go to the "Image to PDF" tab
  2. Select images in the order you want
  3. Choose page size (A4, Letter, or Original)
  4. Tap "Generate PDF"
  5. Save or share your PDF

Does Imgkit work offline?

Yes! All processing happens on your device. No internet connection required for conversions (except for subscription verification on first launch).

What's the maximum image size?

Imgkit can handle very large images (100+ megapixels), but performance depends on your device. Older devices may struggle with extremely large batches.

Can I resize images?

Yes. When converting, tap "Options" and enter your desired width/height. The app maintains aspect ratio automatically.


Troubleshooting

The app crashes when converting

This usually happens with very large batches on older devices. Try:

Converted images look blurry

Check your quality settings. If the quality slider is too far left, images will be compressed heavily. Move it to 90-100% for best quality.

I can't select photos

Check app permissions:

  1. Settings → Privacy → Photos
  2. Find Imgkit
  3. Set to "All Photos" or "Selected Photos"

The app is slow

Features are missing

Make sure you've restored purchases if you're a Premium user. Go to Settings → Restore Purchases.


Account & Data

Do I need an account?

No. Imgkit doesn't require account creation or login.

How do I transfer Premium to a new iPhone?

Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Simply:

  1. Sign in with the same Apple ID on your new device
  2. Download Imgkit
  3. Tap "Restore Purchases"

How do I delete my data?

All conversions happen locally—nothing is stored on our servers. To delete:
