Welcome to Sleeptally! Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We have intentionally designed the Sleeptally app to protect your personal information by keeping it directly on your device.
1. Data Collection and Usage
Sleeptally operates entirely offline and locally on your iOS device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your personal sleep data, health metrics, or usage habits on external servers.
- Local Storage: All of your data, including optimal sleep cycle calculations, unlimited sleep history, and personalized goals, are saved securely on your device using Apple's native secure local storage.
- Nightstand Mode: The distraction-free nightstand mode operates locally. All session durations are tracked and kept strictly on your mobile device.
- Notifications: If you elect to enable customized bedtime reminders, the app schedules local device notifications. We do not track, intercept, or monitor these notifications.
2. Third-Party Services & Analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or external databases that harvest or monetize your data. Your sleep data remains entirely yours and completely private.
3. Data Retention, User Rights, & Deletion
Because your data is strictly stored locally on your device hardware, you have ultimate and complete control over it. You can permanently delete your entire sleep history and application preferences at any time by simply deleting the Sleeptally app from your iPhone.
4. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Given that our application fundamentally does not collect personal data from any user, it is entirely safe and private for children to utilize.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time as we continuously improve the app and add new local features. We will notify you of any changes by updating the posting on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
6. Terms of Use (EULA)

- Your specific device model and iOS version (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 17).
- Any screenshots portraying what you are experiencing.

Managing Subscriptions, Restoring, and Refunds
Because your privacy is our priority and we do not force account creation, all Sleeptally premium subscriptions and payments are securely and anonymously handled by Apple.
- To manage or cancel a subscription: Please open the official Settings app on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID Name at the top of the screen, and select Subscriptions.
- To restore a purchase: If you ever delete the app or get a new iPhone, you can immediately recover your Premium access by navigating to the Premium screen in the app and actively tapping the Restore Purchase button. Apple will securely verify your receipt.
