Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Remindex handles information. It covers only what the app actually does.
What Remindex does
Remindex lets you:
- Create reminders with a title, optional notes, due date and time, category (Work, Personal, Health, Shopping, Other), and priority (Low, Medium, High)
- Repeat reminders daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, on a wake-up schedule, or on a work/rest cycle
- Receive a local notification at the scheduled time, if you allow notifications
- Postpone a reminder (10 minutes, 1 hour, or tomorrow morning) from the app or the notification
- Search reminders by title or notes, and filter All, Active, Done, or Overdue
- View reminders on a calendar and add one for a selected day
- Turn a reminder on or off without deleting it
- Choose Light, Dark, or System appearance
Reminders are stored on your iPhone. Remindex does not use iCloud sync, does not require an account, and does not include ads.
Information stored on your device
The following stays on your iPhone unless you delete the app or the data:
- Reminder content — title, notes, due date and time, category, priority, enabled/completed state, recurrence, and related settings, stored locally with Apple Core Data
- App preferences — appearance, notification preference, and similar settings, stored locally with Apple UserDefaults
- Subscription status on device — whether Premium is active and which plan (weekly or yearly), stored locally so the app can unlock saving
We do not operate a Remindex account system. You do not create a username or password in the app. Reminder titles and notes are not uploaded to 1KB Apps servers.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your reminder titles, notes, or schedules on 1KB Apps servers
- We do not use advertising SDKs or show ads
- We do not use Apple Intelligence, ChatGPT, or any third-party AI API
- We do not use a separate analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDK (no Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar)
- We do not sell your information
- NSPrivacyTracking in the app is set to false. The app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Remindex schedules local alerts on your device through Apple User Notifications. Notification content comes from the reminder you saved (for example, its title and time). You can change notification permission in iOS Settings, and you can turn notifications off in Remindex Settings.
Purchases and third-party services
Payments are processed by Apple. Subscriptions are weekly and yearly auto-renewable In-App Purchases. Apple bills your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
To check whether Premium is active, restore purchases, and complete a subscription, Remindex uses:
- Apple StoreKit — Apple’s purchase framework (product prices, purchase sheet, Apple ID billing)
- RevenueCat — a subscription service that receives purchase-related information needed to confirm and restore your subscription (for example, an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers such as weekly/yearly, and subscription status). RevenueCat does not receive your reminder titles or notes from Remindex
Apple and RevenueCat process this purchase data under their own policies:
- Apple Privacy Policy: Apple Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy: RevenueCat Privacy Policy
If you tap Rate Remindex, Apple’s standard review prompt may appear. If you tap Share Remindex, the iOS share sheet opens with the App Store link for the app — not your reminder list.
Opening Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Help, or Contact Support in Settings uses your browser or mail app to reach those pages or support@1kbapps.com.
How information is used
- On-device reminder data — to show your list, calendar, and notifications, and to save or update a reminder after you subscribe
- Notification permission — to deliver alerts at the times you set
- Purchase data (Apple and RevenueCat) — to provide Premium, restore an existing subscription, and show plan status
- Emails you send us — only to reply to your support request
Storage and security
Reminder data is stored locally on your iPhone. 1KB Apps does not host a Remindex reminder database. Purchase confirmation is handled by Apple and RevenueCat over their secure connections. We do not ask you to send reminder content to support unless you choose to include it in an email.
Deleting Remindex from your iPhone deletes the locally stored reminders and preferences on that device. It does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in Apple ID subscription settings.
Analytics
Remindex does not include a third-party analytics SDK. We do not build advertising profiles. Apple and RevenueCat may process technical or purchase-related data as part of running the App Store and subscription checks, as described in their policies.
Technologies used
Remindex is built with Apple platforms:
- SwiftUI (interface)
- Core Data (local reminder storage)
- UserNotifications (local alerts)
- StoreKit (App Store products and billing)
- UserDefaults (local settings)
Third-party service used:
- RevenueCat (subscription status, purchase, and restore) — not for reminder content
Remindex does not use Apple Intelligence, third-party AI models, iCloud, CloudKit, advertising networks, or social-login APIs.
Your rights
- Access and edit — view and edit reminders in the app
- Delete reminders — delete individual reminders in the app
- Delete local data — delete the app from your iPhone
- Notifications — allow or deny in iOS Settings, or use the toggle in Remindex Settings
- Subscription — restore in Remindex Settings, or manage/cancel in Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Questions — email support@1kbapps.com
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and similar regions), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data that a company holds about you. For reminder content, that data is on your device, not on 1KB Apps servers. For purchase records, Apple and RevenueCat are the relevant processors; you can also contact us and we will help where we can.
Children’s privacy
Remindex is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us by email, contact support@1kbapps.com and we will delete that correspondence.
International use
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Purchase processing may occur in the United States or other countries where Apple or RevenueCat operate. Reminder content remains on your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page if the app’s behaviour changes (for example, a new service). The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

Questions and answers
What is Remindex?
A reminder app for iPhone. You write what you need to remember, choose a time, and — with Premium — save it so it can notify you. Home shows what is overdue or coming up. Reminders is your full list. Calendar is for planning by date.
Is Remindex free?
You can open the app, look around, and start composing a reminder without paying. Saving a reminder so it is stored and can alert you requires Remindex Premium. Sharing in Settings shares the App Store link for Remindex, not your reminder data. There is no reminder export feature.
How do I create a reminder?
On Home, tap Add reminder (or the + on Reminders, or Add on a calendar day). Enter a title (required). You may add notes, a date and time, a repeat option, a category, and a priority. Tap Save. If you are not subscribed, the Premium screen appears. After you subscribe, a reminder you were writing can save if the title is filled in.
Why can’t I save?
Saving requires an active weekly or yearly Premium subscription. Dismiss the paywall to keep browsing. Subscribe with your Apple ID, or tap Restore Purchases in Settings or on the paywall if you already subscribed with this Apple ID.
How do notifications work?
On first launch, Remindex asks for notification permission. If you allow it, a saved, enabled reminder can show a local alert at its due time. You can postpone from the notification (10 minutes, 1 hour, or tomorrow morning) or from the reminder list. Turn notifications off in Remindex Settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Remindex.
What repeat options exist?
One-time, daily (including every N days), weekly (selected weekdays), monthly, yearly, a wake-up schedule with different weekday and weekend hours, and a work/rest cycle.
How do I search or filter?
On Reminders, use the search field for title or notes. Filter chips: All, Active, Done, Overdue.
Does Remindex sync across devices?
No. Reminders stay on that iPhone. There is no iCloud sync and no account sign-in.
Does Remindex use Apple Intelligence or AI?
No. Remindex does not use Apple Intelligence or third-party AI APIs. Reminders and alerts are scheduled with Apple’s on-device frameworks.
What are Weekly and Yearly plans?
Auto-renewable subscriptions billed through Apple. Weekly renews each week; yearly renews each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Prices are shown in the app from the App Store. Cancel in Apple ID → Subscriptions.
How do I restore a purchase?
Settings (when not subscribed) or the paywall → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Sign in to the App Store if asked.
How do I change appearance?
Settings → Appearance → System, Light, or Dark.
How do I delete a reminder?
Open it and use Delete Reminder, or swipe delete / delete in the reminder’s menu on the list.
Who provides the licence terms?
Remindex uses Apple’s Standard EULA: Apple Standard EULA
