Getting Started

1. Open the app and allow Notifications.
2. Tap + to create a reminder; add title, time, optional notes and sound.
3. To repeat, choose a repeat pattern in Repeat.
4. See reminders in the list or pick dates in Calendar.

Tip: Pause all reminders anytime (Settings > Notifications > Pause All).

Notifications Help

If you didn’t receive an alert:

• Check iOS Settings > Notifications > Remindex: Allow Notifications, Sounds, Badges
• Ensure Focus/Do Not Disturb isn’t silencing alerts
• Confirm the reminder is Enabled and not Completed
• If time has passed, Remindex schedules the next valid time automatically
• Open Remindex once after installing/updating to reschedule pending reminders
• Badge count shows active upcoming reminders

In-App Purchase (Pro)

• One-time Lifetime unlock (non-consumable)
• To buy: Settings > Upgrade or the Upgrade tab
• To restore on a new device: Paywall > Restore Purchases (with the same Apple ID)

If purchase/restoration fails:

• Make sure you’re signed into the correct App Store Apple ID
• Check App Store purchase restrictions (Screen Time)
• Try again on a good network connection
• Restart the device and the app
• Still stuck? Email pm@1kbapps.com with any error text you see

Custom Sounds

• Choose a tone in Settings > Defaults or when editing a reminder
• Tones are bundled (no download required)
• “System Default” plays the iOS system alert sound

Known Behaviors & Notes

• iOS doesn’t support “every N days” repeats natively; Remindex adjusts in the background
• If Background App Refresh is disabled or the device is rarely powered on, open the app occasionally to keep patterns aligned
• All data is stored locally (no account, no servers)
• See App Store listing for minimum iOS version

Privacy

• No accounts, no tracking, no analytics
• Local storage only (Core Data & UserDefaults)
• Network use limited to App Store purchase/restore

Accessibility

• Supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver labels, and large touch targets

Troubleshooting Checklist

• Force close and relaunch the app
• Toggle Notifications off/on in iOS Settings > Remindex
• Create a test reminder 1–2 minutes ahead
• Reboot the device
• Reinstall the app (then Restore Purchases)
