Privacy Policy for Remindex

Overview

Remindex is a simple reminder app. It does not require an account and does not send your data to our servers. Most data is stored locally on your device and under your control. In-app purchases are processed by Apple.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account or profile information
• No email address, phone number, or contact list
• No precise location
• No device advertising identifiers
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• No server-side storage of reminder data

Data Processed On Your Device (Local Only)

• Reminders and notes you create are stored locally using iOS storage (Core Data).
• Notification schedules are created as local notifications (no push notifications).
• Optional app settings (e.g., theme) are stored locally.

We do not have access to this data. It remains on your device unless you back it up via your own iOS/iCloud backups.

In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

• Payments are handled by Apple.
• We do not receive your payment card details or billing address.
• We process Apple-provided purchase receipts locally to unlock features.

Crash Reports and Diagnostics (Optional)

• If you’ve opted in at the system level to share analytics/crash reports with developers, Apple may share aggregated crash logs with us via App Store Connect.
• These reports do not include personal data and are used solely to improve app stability.

Permissions We Request

• Notifications: To deliver local reminders you schedule. You can manage this in iOS Settings > Notifications.
• Calendar: Not used to read device calendar events. The in-app calendar view is for navigation only.
• Background tasks: Used to maintain reminder schedules reliably. No network transfer of your data occurs.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Your reminders and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
• To delete all data, remove reminders in the app and/or uninstall the app.
• We do not store copies on our servers.

Children’s Privacy

• Remindex is not directed to children under 13.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
• Because the app does not collect personal data or require an account, no special steps are needed beyond standard parental supervision.

Security

• Data is stored within iOS’s protected application sandbox.
• No external servers are used by Remindex, reducing exposure to network risks.
• Purchases are secured by Apple’s StoreKit and Apple ID.

International Data Transfers

We do not transfer your reminder data to our servers. In-app purchases and diagnostics are handled by Apple under their policies.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, requests to access, correct, or delete data are fulfilled by you locally (edit/delete reminders, uninstall the app).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
