1. Data Collection and Usage
Pray365 is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, harvest, share, or sell any of your personal data. The app does not require account creation or registration to be used. Any information generated by your use of the app stays entirely on your physical iOS device.
- Daily Streak & Progress: Your prayer streak and the list of prayers you have read are stored locally in your device's user defaults configuration file. This information is used solely to calculate and display your "God First" streak ring on the Home screen.
- Journal Reflections: When you write personal reflections or notes in the Journal tab, that content is stored locally inside the application's secure container on your device. We have no access to your reflections.
2. Data Storage and Retention
Because all data is stored on-device, your prayer progress, streak history, and journal reflections remain on your device until you decide to delete them. If you uninstall or delete the Pray365 app from your device, all locally stored data, including your journal reflections, will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
3. Third-Party Services and APIs
To support premium features, Pray365 integrates with the following services:
- RevenueCat: We use the RevenueCat SDK to process and manage in-app subscriptions (Weekly and Yearly premium plans). RevenueCat interfaces securely with Apple's StoreKit framework to manage purchase validation. For details, please consult the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. No personal identity information is shared with RevenueCat by our app.
- Apple App Store (StoreKit): All transactions are processed directly by Apple. We do not collect or store your billing info or credit card details.
4. On-Device Voice and Notification Processing
- Audio Prayers: The text-to-speech audio reader in Pray365 is powered by Apple's native AVSpeechSynthesizer (part of the AVFoundation framework). The speech synthesis runs entirely on-device. No audio recordings, voice data, or text content are transmitted to external servers.
- Local Notifications: Morning, afternoon, and evening reminders are scheduled locally on your device using the UserNotifications framework. The scheduling and delivery occur completely offline and do not rely on external push notification servers.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Pray365 does not use third-party analytics tracking tools, advertising SDKs, or telemetry. Our app does not track your online activity across other apps or websites, and we comply with Apple's strict privacy requirements (our privacy manifest has no collected data types declared).
6. Children’s Privacy
Since Pray365 does not collect any personal information, it is fully safe for children. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. If you have any concerns, please contact us at our support address.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted directly within the app's official support channels and will take effect immediately upon update.

A: Navigate to the Journal tab in the app and tap the compose icon (a square with a pencil) in the top-right corner. Please note that the Journal reflection feature is a Premium feature and requires a valid weekly or yearly subscription.
Q: Where is my journal data stored? Is it safe?
A: Yes, it is completely secure. Your journal reflections are stored exclusively in the app's local database on your own iPhone. They are never uploaded to our servers, maintaining your total privacy.
Q: How does the Audio Prayer feature work? Does it use internet data?
A: Pray365 utilizes Apple’s built-in text-to-speech synthesis (AVSpeechSynthesizer) to read prayers aloud. Because the synthesis runs locally on your device, it operates entirely offline and does not consume your cellular data plan.
Q: How do I manage my daily prayer reminders?
A: Tap the Settings tab in the app. Under the "Reminders" section, you can toggle morning, afternoon, and evening reminder alerts on or off, and select the specific hour and minute you want to receive them.
Q: How do I manage or cancel my premium subscription?
A: Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple through your App Store account. To cancel or change your subscription:
1. Open your iPhone's Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Select your Pray365 subscription and choose to cancel or modify your plan.
Q: My subscription state is not showing up. How do I restore my purchase?
A: Open the Paywall screen in the app and tap the "Restore Purchase" button. The app will communicate securely with Apple's App Store via RevenueCat to verify your previous purchase and restore your premium access immediately.
