PDFPX — Privacy Policy, Help & Support
Last Updated: April 2, 2026
Privacy Policy
PDFPX ("the App") is developed and published by 1KB Apps. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
1. Data Collection
PDFPX is designed with privacy at its core. The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, files, or images to external servers.
- PDF Files: All PDF files you select are processed entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to any server.
- Converted Images: JPG and PNG images generated from your PDFs remain on your device. They are stored temporarily during the conversion session and saved to your Photo Library only when you choose to do so.
- No Accounts: The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
2. Data Usage
Since PDFPX does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to use, sell, or share. All conversion processing happens locally on your device using Apple's native PDFKit and Core Graphics frameworks.
3. Data Storage
- Temporary Files: During a conversion session, temporary image files are created in the App's sandbox directory. These files are automatically cleaned up by the operating system.
- Conversion History: A minimal, on-device record of your recent conversions (file name, size, date) is stored locally for your convenience. This data never leaves your device.
- Preferences: Your settings — such as theme preference (Dark, Light, or System) and default export format (JPG Fast, JPG High Quality, or PNG Lossless) — are saved locally on your device using standard iOS storage.
4. Third-Party Services
PDFPX uses the following third-party service:
- RevenueCat: The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple's App Store infrastructure to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your PDF files, converted images, or any personal content. For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
5. Analytics
PDFPX does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or usage telemetry. The App does not track how you use it, which files you convert, or any other behavioral data.
6. User Rights
Since the App does not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete. All your data remains on your device and is fully under your control. You can delete the App at any time to remove all locally stored data, including conversion history and preferences.
7. Children's Privacy
PDFPX does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require an account or any personal information to use. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
