Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2025
PDF Secure Pro is designed to protect your PDF files with passwords entirely on your device. We do not operate servers for this app, and we do not collect analytics.
What Data We Collect
- Personal data: None collected.
- Usage analytics: None collected.
- Crash reporting: None collected.
On-Device Processing
- PDF files: Selected PDFs are processed locally to apply a password. Files are not uploaded.
- Passwords: If you use the built-in generator or save a password, it’s stored locally in your device’s storage and can be cleared at any time in Settings → Password History → Clear History.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement status (e.g., whether Pro is unlocked) but no personal information such as your name or email.
Children’s Privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
Your Choices
- Clear saved passwords in Settings → Password History → Clear History.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
- Questions or requests: pm@1kbapps.com.
Changes
We may update this policy for clarity or legal reasons. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are published.
