Welcome to the support hub for Compresso (PDF Compressor). This app helps you compress PDF files directly on your iPhone, ensuring your documents are smaller for sharing while keeping your data completely private and secure.
Common questions
What is included in Premium? Premium unlocks unlimited compressions, advanced compression modes (Extreme, Balanced, Light), and priority processing speed. The paywall in the app always shows the current offerings and prices for your region.
How do I restore my purchase? Open the app, tap the Settings tab, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
The app isn’t responding or crashed. What can I try?
- Fully close the app and reopen it.
- Restart your device.
- Ensure you’re on the latest iOS version.
- Reinstall the app (you can restore purchases afterward).
Tip: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. See Apple’s guide: Manage Subscriptions.
Subscriptions & Purchases
The app currently offers two purchase options:
- Weekly subscription — approximately US$2.99 per week, auto-renewing.
- Annual subscription — approximately US$19.99 per year, auto-renewing (includes a 3-day free trial).
Prices are shown in your local currency on the paywall and may vary by region and taxes. If an introductory offer is available in your region/account, it will be presented in the app.
Auto-renewing subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
- Any free trial or introductory offer, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

Information you provide
- None. We do not collect personal information, documents, or metadata.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage diagnostics (e.g., crash logs) may be collected to help maintain reliability. These are typically processed by Apple’s systems when you opt into sharing diagnostics with developers.
- Purchase status to determine access to Premium features (processed via Apple’s StoreKit).
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality.
- Process and restore in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store infrastructure.
- Respond to support requests and address issues.
Data storage
- Your files stay on your device. All PDF compression happens locally using iOS frameworks. We do not operate any servers or cloud databases for file processing.
- Purchase records are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment information.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information when required by law or to comply with legal processes. Crash/diagnostic data, when shared, is processed by Apple and presented to us in aggregate or anonymized form.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because your content is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing content in the app or uninstalling the app. For purchase history, manage it via your Apple ID.
Children’s privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Terms of Use (EULA)
By downloading or using Compresso (PDF Compressor), you agree to these Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.
Purchases
- Weekly and Annual subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. See “Subscriptions & Purchases” above.
- All billing is processed by Apple. Refunds, if any, are managed by Apple per their policies.
User content
- You retain full ownership and rights to the PDF documents you process.
- You are responsible for the content you process in the app.
Intellectual property
The app and included materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law.
Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and applicable local consumer protections remain in force.
