Common Questions
Q: How do I save my notes?
A: Page Note automatically saves your notes as you type. You don't need to press any save button!
Q: Where are my notes stored?
A: Your notes are stored locally on your device. If you have Mobile PRO with iCloud sync enabled, they're also securely stored in your personal iCloud account.
Q: How do I search within my note?
A: Tap the search icon in the top toolbar, enter your search term, and use the arrows to navigate between matches.
Q: Can I access my old notes?
A: Yes! Tap the History icon to view all your previous notes. You can search, restore, or delete them.
Q: How do I enable Dark Mode?
A: Go to Settings (gear icon) → Toggle "Dark Mode" on or off.
Q: What's included in Mobile PRO?
A: Mobile PRO includes:
- Unlimited characters (no writing limits)
- iCloud sync across all your devices
- Face ID/Touch ID lock for privacy
- PDF export functionality
- Priority support
Q: How do I restore my purchase?
A: Open Settings → Tap on Mobile PRO → Choose "Restore Purchase"
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Page Note → Cancel Subscription.
Q: Can I export my notes?
A: Yes! With Mobile PRO, you can export notes as PDF files. Use the share button in the toolbar.
Q: Is my data safe?
A: Absolutely! Your notes are stored locally on your device and encrypted by iOS. If you use iCloud sync, they're encrypted in transit and at rest in your personal iCloud account.

Information We Collect
We don't collect any personal information. Page Note is designed with privacy first:
- No Account Creation: You don't need to create an account or provide any personal information
- No Analytics: We don't track how you use the app
- No Advertising: We don't collect data for ads or sell your information
- No Third Parties: Your data never leaves your control
Data Storage
Local Storage:
- All your notes are stored locally on your device
- Your notes are protected by iOS encryption
- We cannot access your notes
iCloud Sync (Optional - Mobile PRO only):
- If you enable iCloud sync, your notes are stored in your personal iCloud account
- iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only you can access your iCloud data
- We never have access to your iCloud data
- You can disable iCloud sync anytime in Settings
Biometric Data
Face ID / Touch ID (Mobile PRO only):
- Biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device
- We never collect or store your biometric data
- Apple's Secure Enclave handles all biometric processing
- Used only to lock/unlock the app when you enable this feature
In-App Purchases
When you purchase Mobile PRO:
- Apple processes all payments through the App Store
- We receive only anonymous purchase verification from Apple
- We don't store your payment information
- Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID
Data Retention
- Notes: Stored on your device until you delete them
- Settings: Stored on your device until you delete the app
- Purchase Information: Managed by Apple through your Apple ID
Children's Privacy
Page Note does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: All your data is stored locally on your device
- Delete: Delete notes individually or clear all history anytime
- Export: Export your notes as PDF (Mobile PRO)
- Disable Sync: Turn off iCloud sync anytime in Settings
Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll note the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app means you accept any changes.

License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Page Note on your iOS devices. This license:
- Is tied to your Apple ID
- Allows use on all devices signed in with your Apple ID
- Does not permit resale or redistribution
Mobile PRO Subscriptions
Annual Subscription:
- Auto-renews yearly unless canceled
- Cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings
- Refunds managed by Apple according to their policies
Lifetime Purchase:
- One-time payment for lifetime access
- Non-refundable after 14 days (per Apple's policy)
- Tied to your Apple ID
Free Version
The free version includes:
- Auto-save functionality
- Dark and Light modes
- Smart search
- Note history
- Character limits apply
Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Use the app for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to reverse engineer the app
- Not use the app to store illegal content
- Respect copyright laws when exporting content
Disclaimer
Page Note is provided "as is" without warranties:
- We don't guarantee the app will be error-free
- We're not responsible for data loss (always backup important notes)
- Use at your own risk
Limitation of Liability
We're not liable for:
- Lost or corrupted data
- Damages from app use or inability to use

Troubleshooting
App Won't Open:
- Force quit and restart the app
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates in the App Store
- If issues persist, contact support
iCloud Sync Not Working:
- Check your internet connection
- Verify iCloud is enabled in iOS Settings
- Ensure you're signed in to iCloud
- Try the manual sync button in Settings
- Contact support if issues continue
Face ID Not Working:
- Ensure Face ID is set up in iOS Settings
- Check that Page Note has permission to use Face ID
- Try disabling and re-enabling the lock in app Settings
- Contact support for help
Notes Disappeared:
- Check the History view - notes might be there
- If using iCloud, check that sync is enabled
- Restart the app
