Common questions
What is included in Premium?
Premium unlocks customization (such as smaller/larger text sizes), dark mode, and personal prayer saving features. Availability may evolve; the paywall in the app always shows the current offerings and prices for your region.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the app, tap Upgrade or any locked feature, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
The app isn’t responding or crashed. What can I try?
- Fully close the app and reopen it.
- Restart your device.
- Ensure you’re on the latest iOS/iPadOS version.
- Reinstall the app (you can restore purchases afterward).
Subscriptions & Purchases
The app currently offers two purchase options:
- Weekly subscription — approximately US\$4.99 per week, auto‑renewing.
- Yearly subscription — approximately US\$19.99 per week, auto‑renewing.
- Lifetime access — approximately US$99.99 one‑time (non‑consumable).
Prices are shown in your local currency on the paywall and may vary by region and taxes. If an introductory offer is available in your region/account, it will be presented in the app.
Auto‑renewing subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
- Any free trial or introductory offer, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
Lifetime purchase
Lifetime access is a one‑time purchase (non‑consumable) tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on your other devices using the same Apple ID.

Information you provide
- Personal prayers and notes you create and save within the app.
- App preferences like text size and appearance (dark mode).
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage diagnostics (e.g., crash logs) may be collected to help maintain reliability. These are typically processed by Apple’s systems when you opt into sharing diagnostics with developers.
- Purchase status to determine access to Premium features (processed via Apple’s StoreKit).
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve app functionality.
- Process and restore in‑app purchases through Apple’s App Store infrastructure.
- Respond to support requests and address issues.
Data storage
- Your prayers and notes are stored locally on your device. There is no server‑side account or cloud database operated by us.
- Purchase records are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment information.
- If iCloud Key‑Value Store is enabled in your Apple environment, limited settings could sync via Apple’s services; the app does not require nor depend on this.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information when required by law or to comply with legal processes. Crash/diagnostic data, when shared, is processed by Apple and presented to us in aggregate or anonymized form.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because your content is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing content in the app or uninstalling the app. For purchase history, manage it via your Apple ID.
Children’s privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.

By downloading or using Gongyo Liturgy, you agree to these Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a personal, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive license to use the app on Apple‑branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.
Purchases
- Weekly subscription auto‑renews until canceled. See “Subscriptions & Purchases” above.
- Lifetime access is a one‑time non‑consumable purchase.
- All billing is processed by Apple. Refunds, if any, are managed by Apple per their policies.
User content
- You retain rights to personal prayers and notes you create.
- You are responsible for the content you store in the app.
Intellectual property
The app and included materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app except as permitted by law.
Warranty disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to terms
