EuroFX does not collect any personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
2. Data Storage
All app data — including your cached exchange rate, appearance preference (light, dark, or system theme), and subscription status — is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in UserDefaults storage. No data is transmitted to or stored on any external server controlled by us.
3. Third-Party Services
EuroFX uses the following third-party service:
- Frankfurter API (frankfurter.app) — an open-source, free exchange rate API maintained by the European Central Bank. EuroFX sends a network request to this API to fetch the latest EUR/USD exchange rate. No personal or device-identifying information is included in these requests. The Frankfurter API has its own privacy practices which you can review on their website.
EuroFX does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, crash reporting tools, or third-party tracking services.
4. Analytics & Tracking
EuroFX does not use any analytics or tracking tools. We do not track your usage patterns, conversion history, or any interactions within the app. There are no cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party trackers embedded in the app.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
EuroFX offers optional subscription plans (Weekly and Yearly) to unlock Pro features. All purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store and Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID. Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
6. User Rights
Since EuroFX does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no personal data for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. All app data resides on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
7. Children's Privacy
EuroFX does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any personal information to function. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the email address below, and we will take steps to address the situation.

EuroFX does not use Apple Intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or any third-party SDKs. The app runs entirely on-device with no external dependencies beyond the Frankfurter API for exchange rate data.

Q: How do I convert EUR to USD?
A: Simply open EuroFX and type an amount using the built-in number keypad. The converted amount is displayed instantly based on the latest exchange rate.
Q: How do I switch from EUR → USD to USD → EUR?
A: Tap the swap button (↕) between the two currency cards on the main screen, or use the "Swap Direction" option in Settings. The conversion direction will reverse instantly.
Q: How do I refresh the exchange rate?
A: Tap the refresh icon (↻) on the rate strip at the top of the converter screen. Free users get one rate refresh per day. Pro users enjoy unlimited refreshes.
Q: What happens if I have no internet connection?
A: EuroFX caches the last successfully fetched exchange rate on your device. If you are offline, the app will use the cached rate and display a "Using last saved rate" notice so you always have a working converter.
Q: Where does the exchange rate come from?
A: EuroFX fetches rates from the Frankfurter API, which sources its data from the European Central Bank. Rates are for informational purposes and may differ from bank, card provider, or payment processor rates.
Q: What is included in EuroFX Pro?
A: EuroFX Pro unlocks:
- Unlimited rate refreshes (free users get one per day)
- Copy conversion results to clipboard
- Share conversion results with others
Q: What subscription plans are available?
A: EuroFX offers two subscription plans:
- Weekly Plan — Pay as you go with no long-term commitment.
- Annual Plan — Best value for regular users.
Q: How do I restore a previous purchase?
A: Open the app, go to the paywall screen (tap the crown icon or the upgrade banner), and tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom. Your subscription will be restored if a valid purchase is found on your Apple ID.
Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find EuroFX, and tap "Cancel Subscription". Your Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
