1KB Apps ("we", "our", "us") built Camera Roll Cleaner - Cleanhz ("the App") as a commercial application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Cleanhz does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The App operates entirely on your device. We do not maintain any servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure that receive your data.

On-Device Data Access

The App requests access to the following data on your device solely to provide its core functionality:

Photo Library: The App accesses your photo library to scan for duplicate photos, similar images, blurred shots, screenshots, screen recordings, and large videos. Photo data is analyzed entirely on your device using Apple's native frameworks. No photos or videos are uploaded, copied, or transmitted anywhere.
Contacts: The App accesses your contacts only when you use the Duplicate Contacts feature. Contact data is compared on-device to identify duplicate entries. No contact information is uploaded, copied, or transmitted anywhere.

Both permissions are optional and requested only when the relevant feature is used. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.

No External AI or Third-Party Services

Cleanhz does not use any external artificial intelligence services, third-party APIs, third-party LLMs (Large Language Models), or cloud-based processing. All scanning and analysis is performed entirely on your device using Apple's native Vision framework and standard iOS APIs. Your data never leaves your iPhone.

Analytics and Tracking

Cleanhz does not include any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking tools, advertising frameworks, or telemetry services. We do not track your usage, behavior, or any other activity within the App.

Subscriptions and Payments

Cleanhz offers optional in-app subscriptions (Yearly and Weekly plans) processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. All payment information is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.

Data Storage

The App stores minimal preference data (such as your theme setting and scan history) locally on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults. This data is not accessible to us and is removed when you delete the App.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with any third parties. There is no data to share because we do not collect any.

Children's Privacy

Cleanhz does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require account creation or any form of personal data input. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email below, and we will take steps to address the concern.

Data Deletion

Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no user data for us to delete. All locally stored preferences are automatically removed when you uninstall the App from your device.

A: No. When you delete photos or videos through Cleanhz, they are moved to the "Recently Deleted" album in your Photos app, where they remain for 30 days before being permanently removed. You can recover them at any time within that window.

Q: Does Cleanhz upload my photos or contacts to any server?
A: No. All scanning and analysis happens 100% on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. We do not use any external AI, third-party APIs, or cloud services.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Open the Settings app on your iPhone → Tap your name at the top → Tap Subscriptions → Find Cleanhz and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions through the App Store.

Q: How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
A: Open Cleanhz on your new device → Navigate to Settings → Tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription will be restored automatically if it is active.

Q: What permissions does the app need?
A: Cleanhz requires Photo Library access to scan your camera roll and optionally Contacts access to find duplicate contacts. Both permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings.
