Privacy Policy

1 Page Note ("the App") is a minimalist note-taking app built for iPhone and iPad. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

1 Page Note does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. Specifically:

Notes and text: Your notes are stored locally on your device using iOS's standard UserDefaults storage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync (Pro feature).
iCloud Sync (Pro users only): If you subscribe to 1 Page Note Pro, your note is synced to your personal, private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your own iCloud container — we have no access to it. Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy govern this storage.
App preferences: Settings such as dark mode preference and text size are stored locally using UserDefaults on your device.
Purchase status: Whether you are a Pro user is verified directly via Apple's StoreKit 2 framework and cached locally. No payment information is ever handled by us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email, or any contact information.
We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral data.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar).
We do not display advertising of any kind.
We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.

3. Third-Party Services

1 Page Note integrates only with Apple's native frameworks:

Apple StoreKit 2: Used to process in-app purchases (Lifetime and Yearly Pro plans) and to verify your purchase entitlement. All transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Apple CloudKit: Used exclusively for Pro users to sync notes to their private iCloud account. Data is end-to-end private and is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy terms.

No other third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services are integrated into this app.

4. Apple Intelligence & On-Device AI

1 Page Note does not use Apple Intelligence or any on-device or cloud-based AI/ML features. There is no AI processing of your notes. The app is a straightforward, native text editor — your words stay exactly as you write them.

5. Data Storage & Security

Notes are stored locally on your device in iOS UserDefaults.
For Pro users, iCloud Sync stores your note in Apple's private CloudKit database.
We do not operate any backend servers, databases, or APIs.

6. Data Retention

Your notes remain on your device until you delete the app or clear the note manually. If you use iCloud Sync, your note persists in your iCloud account according to Apple's policies.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to manage on your behalf. You retain full control:

Access & Deletion: Delete the app to remove all local data.
Portability: Export your note anytime.
Opt-out: Simply don’t use iCloud Sync.

8. Children's Privacy

1 Page Note is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from any user.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use means acceptance.
